Romance novels and heroes come in various shapes and sizes. There are bad boys, alpha males, shapeshifters, Navy Seals, gay, straight, bisexual, good guys, boys-next-door, hometown heroes, nerds, geeks, billionaires, stepbrothers, aliens, angels, vampires, werewolves…there are so many to choose from! How do you know which romance authors are right for you?
Here’s some handy information for determining whether the romance novels I write are right for you:
If you like domineering alpha males who order their women around, you might want to look elsewhere. There are tons of popular and well-written bad boy romances out there, but they’re just not my kind of thing. Personally, I’m a sucker for the strong, passionate type of hero who’s protective of the woman he loves.
If you like complete novels that are 200-300 pages or longer, you’ve come to the right place! All my books are full-length stories with a beginning, middle, and end. Some of my books are part of a continuing series, but I’m not a big fan of cliffhangers.
If you like steamy love scenes.…then we have something in common. I love to read and write about all phases of a passionate love affair, and that includes sex.
If you enjoy reading the most popular trends in romance novels, like billionaires, stepbrothers, and secret baby romances, well, here we part ways a bit. I tend to write what interests me and what gets me excited about writing. If that happens to be popular at the time, great! If not, well, I’m gonna write it anyway.
