The Rough Ride – An RNAA Recommended Read

My Thoughts on the Book:
Romantic suspense with action, adventure, romance and allll the feels.
This is an excellent romantic suspense with strong characters, intrigue, and romance. Nick is adamantly against having children of his own, not wanting to pass down his horrible family history of abuse. Unknown to him, the woman of his dreams has a child that she fears telling him about for fear of how he will react. I love how this book shows Nick coming to terms with his issues and it’s utterly endearing to see how he learns to trust himself while caring for three kids that are suddenly his temporary responsibility when the Nanny gets sick while he is on security detail for a U. S. senator. The romance is tender yet steamy, and there is a suspenseful plot filled with danger and intrigue that includes numerous strong, intelligent military women which I was glad to see. This is a romantic suspense with action, adventure, romance and allll the feels!

Marked Prince – An RNAA Recommended Read

Genre: Paranormal Romance
My Thoughts on the Book:
This whole universe was new to me, as this was the first book I’ve read by this author. The book was quite engaging and easy to understand, even if you are brand-new to the series. The heroine, Fiora, has incredible fortune-telling abilities and can tell everyone’s future but her own. She is also cursed in that she is compelled to tell the truth when asked about anything/ It’s rather horrifying to think you would be forced to answer even the most personal questions with sheer honesty. A lot of bad boy romance “heroes” might take advantage of that, but Jaxx (a dragon shifter) doesn’t which I love. When Fiora’s visions foretell disaster, she must find a way to alter the future. Overall, this was a fascinating read with excellent world-building.

Of Demon Kind – An RNAA Recommended Read

My Thoughts on the Book:

From the first page of the book I was hooked!  I literally could not put it down.  I have never read a romance novel that pulled me into the world the writer created as this one did.  All of my senses were awakened to every aspect of Prince Lorn.  I could feel the air move as he spread his wings to take flight and his breathe as he moved in closer to care for his love.  Wow!  

Anderson writes beautifully, with vivid imagery and flowing sensuous scenes of great love and passion. Her settings are descriptively remarkable, allowing the reader to capture each scene in all of its beauty and glory. I use the word glory because every time  Prince Lorn opens his wings one can not help but feel an amazing presence.  

A damsel in distress, a magnificent man that can fly, a castle, unforbidden love, and passion that could light the world on fire are all included in Anderson’s first novel.  There should be a warning on the book:  if you read this book, you will want to read the entire series.

Pursued – An RNAA Recommended Read

Romance Novel Addicts Anonymous Book Recommendation by: Tiffany Winters


Genre: Paranormal Romance / Vampire Romance


My Thoughts on the Book: It’s the first in her new series of vampire mafia romances about Gabriel, the heir to the Vampire Syndicate mafia and his love Mila, who ran away from him years ago under mysterious circumstances. When she returns he has every reason not to trust her. Thus begins an intriguing reaquaintance that kept me up late reading for more than one night. The story is thrilling and unexpected and the characters have great chemistry. If you aren’t into steamy romance then this isn’t for you. I loved how well written it was and the fact that the story moves along quickly. Just like Gabriel and Mila, the reader won’t really know who to trust. I thought it was awesome!

My Thoughts on the Book: This is a second chance romance for a couple who met as teenagers at the beach and then reconnected years later. The book deals well with issues like grief and how cheating has a painful effect on family dynamics (no cheating by the hero or heroine though!). Both the hero and heroine had relationships fall through, losing stepchildren-to-be in the process. It’s a sweet story with some quick, steamy scenes. Lovely book about love and life and second chance romance.

My Thoughts on the Book: I picked up this book because I know the fake fiancee trope is very popular so I was curious to try one. This was an enjoyable story with a sexy college football player and a strong yet wounded heroine. I was pleased to see this book had a good plot that kept me interested beyond just the familiar fake fiancee trope. Sexy, sweet, engaging (pun sorta intended) read.

My thoughts on this book: This was an enjoyable romantic comedy about a gruff, alpha yet not too obnoxiously alpha, guy and a wedding planner who was left at the altar at her own wedding. Though of course there is an HEA, there were some cool twists and turns in the story to keep you guessing. Great book for when you’re in the mood for a light romantic read.

My Thoughts on the Book: This book was just a lot of fun to read. I loved the premise – female worker at a condom company falls for the new, sexy temp who happens to moonlight as a male stripper. An added complication is the company’s no-dating policy between coworkers that was implemented by the heroine herself! A highly enjoyable read with quirky, gossipy, and sometimes bitchy coworkers, it was fun to watch the hero and heroine get their HEA. Bonus – the male stripper routines were absolutely delicious!

My Thoughts on This Book: I never read such unique, realistic and various collection of romantic short stories! Each story was different from another one and caught my attention. My favourite stories are The Moment, The Perfect Date, Show and Tell, Recess and Carrie Sue. I so enjoyed reading The Perfect Day among others maybe because I am a romantic person and believe in such dates. I would like to have such a date in my life. Carrie Sue showed the true relationships and feelings what every woman feels when experience doubt about love of her husband. I liked it. Recess impressed me in a special way: this story was telling about love among children. This is why I felt so pleasant reading it.
Thank you for this book, it gave me so many positive emotions.
I just wonder only about one thing: are these stories real or fiction? They sounded so close to the reality.
