Romance Novel Addicts Anonymous Book Recommendation by: Joanna Hughes
Genre: LGBT M/M Romance
My Thoughts on the Book: Learning to feel by NR Walker is centred around two men. Nathan, a doctor, who isn’t sure if he’s gay or straight. And Trent, Nathan’s new roommate who is an artist. Once Nathan accepts his sexuality, a beautiful love affair starts between the two. Throughout, they face hardship and prejudice whilst living in a judgemental small town. This book is very steamy yet thought-provoking.

My Thoughts on The Book:
This is the first book in the Cloverleigh Farm Series by Melanie Harlow. The story revolves around Frannie who works at her parents estate and has a heart condition. The hero in this tale is Mack, a single dad raising three children. Though he’s not looking for love, he can’t help but wonder about the farm girl Frannie who is much younger than him. Imagine his surprise when he discovers she feels the same. A beautiful hidden love affair blooms between the two with obstacles at every turn. Just when you think you have it all figured out, the author throws massive spanner’s in the works. This book is fun, sweet and sexy and hits all the rights spots. Book 2, 3 & 4 in the series are also available.
My Thoughts on the Book: This is a well written second chance romance between a Bollywood director and a Bollywood actress. The heroine was hard to like at times, but that was kind of the point I suppose. She acted like a spoiled diva, but her attitude was really born out of insecurity. Overall this was an enjoyable, steamy romance.

Genre: Paranormal, LGBT, M/M Romance, Novella
My Thoughts on the Book: Very clever and imaginative story about love between a ghost and a living person. The novel features a sweet yet very steamy relationship between two men. The story expertly mixes the Supernatural with reality, touching on the challenges of being gay in a small, old-fashioned town.

Genre- Contemporary Romance
My Thoughts on the Book:
I am not a fan of bad boys, cocky alphas, and all-around jerk romance heroes, so I was happy to find a book about a good guy hero. I was not disappointed – Travis is a hunky, protective hero without being unnecessarily possessive and obnoxious. This is a sweet yet steamy story about a hero and heroine, both virgins, who find true love. Travis picks up an innocent, runaway hitchhiker and brings her back to his small town where she finds the home she never had.

My Thoughts on the Book: I thoroughly enjoyed this delightful quick read about a city girl who gets rescued by a small town hunk in the middle of a snowstorm in Colorado. For once, this book didn’t lean too heavily on the “all city folks are soulless business people and all small-town folks have hearts of gold” trope. The book had hints of steam but was not explicit. Well-rounded characters and a cool setting in Colorado made this a good read. Perfect cozy read for a rainy or snowy day!

Genre: Romance Short Stories
My Thoughts on This Book: I never read such unique, realistic and various collection of romantic short stories! Each story was different from another one and caught my attention. My favourite stories are The Moment, The Perfect Date, Show and Tell, Recess and Carrie Sue. I so enjoyed reading The Perfect Day among others maybe because I am a romantic person and believe in such dates. I would like to have such a date in my life. Carrie Sue showed the true relationships and feelings what every woman feels when experience doubt about love of her husband. I liked it. Recess impressed me in a special way: this story was telling about love among children. This is why I felt so pleasant reading it. Thank you for this book, it gave me so many positive emotions. I just wonder only about one thing: are these stories real or fiction? They sounded so close to the reality.

Title: The Netherworld Chronicles Vol 1: The Lifted Veil
Author: Phoebe Killingsworth
Genre: Dark Paranormal Romance
My Thoughts on this Book:
When I started reading this story I couldn’t put it down. It surprised me and conquered me without a doubt. All characters- major or minor- impressed me in full. They are well written as well described, so passionate and colorful. It is like you watch the movie in a big action genre and cannot stop.
The story as dark as night itself and it captivates you. A calmly living girl Morgan finds out that she is not a mortal girl and her parents are not real parents at all. And the dreadful thing is, her REAL parents are non mortal as well and dead. What a sad twist, right? This story goes with so many unexpected turns that you cannot stop being in awe and horror because of the darkness that soaked the plot. You can find here as many bad boys as you want, sexy and dangerous. But some of them are so horrible like Chance that better not following him and like him doesn’t matter how beautiful he looks. He is a true bast*rd, cruel and vengefully evil. I can say, he is the devil in this story and nothing more. Fallon is opposite has a heart and some kindness but he is also has no mercy for enemies and killing. Mykah is the same as Fallon, a loyal soldier to his master and King Devon who seems really kind at first sight for Morgan but Netherland Kingdom doesn’t let innocence get in and live there. It dies there and it is not good. Devon shows Morgan what his kingdom is. This is so sad and pity because Morgan has to live there being prisoned, without her great friend Carmen who has a secret of her birth as much as Morgan. This story surrounded by secrets as passion and love rules it despite of how many awful things happen in it. I cannot wait to read the sequel! I am not against cliffhanger ends in books, they just make you so excited and emotional. Thumbs up if you agree! Great job. I so loved this story.
Maybe a reason is how I like dark romance books also won me! Thank you.
